Meet Dr. Billy Holguin

It is such a privilege to be able to give back to my community through my everyday work. I’m a Sonoma County native, and if you would have told 6-year-old me that I would be in dentistry one day, I might not have heard you over the sound of my screaming while at the dentist. Due to the patience and compassion of great Sonoma County dentists, I’ve come full circle, and now have the pleasure of providing the same quality of care and excellence for my patients. I want my patients to know that they are being listened to and understand that we are in a partnership as we work towards bettering and maintaining their dental health.

I’ve long been interested in sciences, and decided I wanted to pursue a career with direct and immediate patient contact. I take pride in restoring my patients’ confidence and helping them feel relaxed and reassured when they are in my chair.

I love to learn new things and am thankful that I found a career where I can continue to explore my interests in the field while I learn new technologies and techniques to bring back to my patients. I completed my undergraduate education at Sonoma State University before continuing to University of California, San Francisco, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

I like to spend my free time outdoors and on-the-go with my wife Megan, our son Dominic, and our sweet dog Bodie. When we can’t get outside to hike or hit the beach, I like finding projects around the house to keep me busy, taking a short drive to visit with family, or searching for a new restaurant to try - especially if they have something spicy.
